Trip to NYC to see Realmadrid FC vs. AS Roma (exhibition) in Giants Stadium

On August 8, 2002, me and three of my closest friends went to NYC to attend an international soccer exhibition at Giants Stadium in NJ. The game drew a crowd of 70, 635. It was a match honoring Real Madrid's 100th anniversary, and was a benefit to the global AIDS cause. Even Kofi Annan was there. The game's result was a scoreless tie. It was an exciting game which I know Real Madrid played 7 world cup starters. The kool thing is that I found out where both clubs were staying, beleive me this was top secret, but I had my ways. So we managed to book at the Hilton in Manhatton , thats where Real Madrid was staying. As Roma was just across the street at the Sheraton. We got a very pricy suite, but when you're one floor below Real Madrid and you can split the cost 4 ways between buddies, who cares. We got some picts when they arrived. Since we didnt have a digital camera I had to take a digital shot of regular pictures we took. Thats why they don't look really nice on this blog. Anyways, After the game its was more calm and we managed to spend some quality time talking and chilling with the players. Here are some of the pictures...
